Seeing is deceiving, Dreaming is believing.

I'm just a girl with lots of feels. ✌ Hunger Games Blog. Feel free to send requests and picture submissions. None of these pictures are mine. xox ❤.
I chose to believe that everyone is a coward. People hide for, fear, and yet some of these creatures can not seem to figure out that there is nothing to fear more than fear itself. What a terrible thing really. Coward, we all are one in some extent. Though I suppose in Panem, you can’t afford to be a coward.

That’s why Cato gave training his all. He eased his mind by pretending he could care less when perhaps he was the biggest coward of them all. He turned his mind to his work, slaying dummies and growling at anyone who came in his way. Maybe he fooled himself when he started opening up to her.

Clove was known as the girl with the knives. After all, she never misses. But why is that, perhaps it’s because she, just like Cato, was known at as the best of the best solely because it eased her mind.

Apart, they were indestructible. But together, they were weak.

So when 3 am rolled around and it was their breath against each other’s necks, their hands entwined, and their lips forming a path among the others body, it was certain that they were domed. Love makes you weak. And fear makes you a coward. So maybe, his fear of losing her was just proof that he was a coward. Same goes for her.

“Promise you won’t volunteer?” Clove’s voice broke the dark room at one of the money nights they spent together.

“Promise. Promise me you won’t volunteer?” Cato vowed and questioned softly.

Clove nodded and kissed his lips, showing him her answer.

But on reaping day, when Clove’s name was pulled, Cato broke the promise and volunteered. Maybe it was the fear of losing her that made him do it. But as he marched up those steps, his future was clear. He would save her. And that made him the biggest coward of them all.
